The Enterprise Reporting & Analytics (ERA) platform at McKesson serves as the essential backbone for thousands of healthcare administrators managing user roles, datasets, and compliance reporting. However, its outdated interface introduced significant friction, creating inefficiencies in critical workflows such as role assignments, data access management, and compliance tracking. These issues resulted in delays, operational bottlenecks, reporting inaccuracies, and steep learning curves for new users. Recognizing these challenges, I spearheaded a comprehensive UX/UI redesign of ERA, aiming to simplify complex tasks, reduce errors, and establish a scalable, intuitive system tailored for seamless integration across multiple departments, all while meeting rigorous compliance standards.

The redesigned Admin Dashboard in McKesson’s ERA platform provides administrators a centralized view to monitor key system metrics, pending tasks, and recent activities. Improved visual hierarchy ensures critical data—such as user statuses, pending approvals, and role modifications—is immediately clear, streamlining decision-making. Integrated Quick Actions let admins swiftly perform frequent tasks, while the Recent Activity feed enhances oversight and accountability. Together, these enhancements empower administrators with rapid insights and effective controls, reducing operational friction.
Solutions Management in McKesson’s ERA platform gives admins full control over enterprise solutions, allowing them to manage access, enforce permissions, and monitor active and expired solutions. The redesigned system improves visibility and streamlines workflows to reduce bottlenecks. The Manage Bulk Access modal enables admins to update permissions for multiple solutions at once using a structured three-step workflow, ensuring accuracy before applying changes. Live previews prevent misconfigurations, and real-time updates are logged for compliance. The Create New Solution modal simplifies deployment with pre-built templates, granular access control, and tagging for better organization. These updates ensure McKesson administrators can efficiently manage enterprise solutions without friction.
